With stunning landscapes, and a raw, natural beauty, New Zealand and its courses evoke awe and wonder by all who visit. And the city of Queenstown “cranks it up to 11” in this regard. Considered the “Adventure Capital of the world”, the city has no shortage of excitement and buzz. It is a city like no other on Earth!
For this year’s event, we have chosen an amazing assortment of the top Queenstown golf courses (among the best in New Zealand), and arranged accommodation at the centrally located Ramada Queenstown. In addition, we have partnered with an on-ground supplier to assist with golf and transfers.
In essence, we've done the hard yards for you. All you need to do is have fun!
DAY 1 - SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2022
ARRIVAL IN QUEENSTOWN
Depart your Capital City
Arrive Queenstown. Transfer to Ramada Queenstown. Optional extra nights are available for those who would like to arrive earlier.
Commercial flights from around Australia fly in to Queenstown and taxis are available for transfer to Ramada Queenstown from the airport.
DAY 2. MONDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2022
Arrowtown Golf Club – Ranked # 13 in NZ
The picturesque Arrowtown Golf Club is set in Central Otago, one of New Zealand's most historic and scenic regions. Surrounded by mountains, the 18 hole course has superb views from every fairway. Take time to play golf in this inspiring setting - it's unique! Each hole has its own attraction and the diverse and challenging course attracts players from all over the world. Historic stone cottage ruins nestle amongst towering trees, a legacy of Arrowtown's pioneers. Arrowtown's link with its gold mining past is highlighted in the names of holes: Sons of Fortune and Golden Arrow, which border the once rich, gold bearing Arrow River. Established in 1937 as a nine hole course, the second nine opened in 1970. The course is 5327 meters on the men’s card (par 70 for men, par 71 for women).
DAY 3 - TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2022
Queenstown Golf Club – Ranked # 39 in NZ
Queenstown Golf Club at Kelvin Heights was recently voted New Zealand’s most scenic golf course and is internationally regarded as one of the World’s most picturesque. It is set in the amphitheatre of the famous Remarkable Mountain Range and surrounded by the pristine waters of Lake Wakatipu.
The Course is ‘truly awesome’, offering not only a course that will test your skill but provides a golfing experience you will never forget. Queenstown Golf Club provides a unique challenge with undulating fairways framed by well-established Pine trees. The signature 5th hole playing across the Lake is one of New Zealand’s finest and most photographed.
DAY 4. WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2022
REST DAY - OPTIONAL GOLF - The Hills – Ranked # 6 in NZ
The Hills, opened in 2007, is set over 250 acres of former deer farm on the outskirts of Arrowtown in Central Otago. Sir Michael Hill’s Private Course, it is regarded as New Zealand’s most exclusive golf club. Laid out on 250 acres on the outskirts of Arrowtown, The Hills has hosted several NZ PGA and Open tournaments since opening in 2007. Its stunning surroundings and condition of the course make it ideal to host major tournaments.

DAY 5 - THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2022
Jacks Point Golf Club – Ranked # 2 in NZ
Set within a 3,000 acre nature preserve on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, Jack's Point is an 18-hole par-72 golf course bounded by the Remarkables Mountain Range and Lake Wakatipu. It traverses through wetland to the Lake edge encountering steep bluffs, indigenous vegetation and wildlife. It is designed to work with nature, not against it. Fairways are designed with minimal excavation and careful plantings to complement the natural environment, but also to give the golfer a fighting chance.
DAY 6. FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2022
Millbrook Resort (Coronet Course) – Ranked # 8 in NZ
Set in a natural, alpine amphitheatre, the Millbrook Resort course is one of the most impressive international golf arenas in the world. Featuring impeccably groomed fairways and greens, demanding hazards and meandering water courses, surrounded by the alpine backdrop of the Remarkables Mountain Range, golf at Millbrook Resort is an exhilarating experience. The 18-hole, par 72 championship course was designed by renowned professional and master golfer, Sir Bob Charles, and features four different tee positions for complete enjoyment at all levels of playing expertise.

Some people may choose to arrive earlier or depart later and we can arrange extra nights accommodation and additional rounds of golf as required. If you wish to extend your stay and fit in another game, just let us know when you book and we can make arrangements for you. Entry in the event is subject to accepting the SGA Terms & Conditions of entry. To secure your place, a $400 deposit is required and full payments are due by September 17, 2022. Bookings and payments are made directly to SGA. Once you have completed the online booking, we will contact you with booking confirmation and payment information. Payment can be made by direct deposit or by credit card over the phone. Note that payments for the land package are made to Social Golf Australia and payments for airfares are made privately.
