Spice Girls show "Girl Power" to dominate the 2026 SGA Championships
A massive field of 124 golfers enjoyed a week of fun, sun and friendships as they competed for victory in Social Golf Australia's 2026 SGA Championships, played at the glittering Gold Coast.
The Four-Round Event, which included both Graded/Individual competitions as well as a Teams Competition, was contested over the week of August 2-7, 2026. It was played at some of Queensland's best golf courses: Links Hope Island, Lakelands, Palm Meadows, and RACV Royal Pines, with an optional round at Palmer Gold Coast.
After a week of great golf, camaraderie and all-around fun, the results were tallied, and the winners announced during the traditional Presentation Dinner at the Mantra Legends Ballroom.
In the end, a week-long, dominant display by the Spice Girls (Rukshana Mohammed, Subashanthi Senthuran, Marcella Broz and Sharmita Naidu) saw them lift the Robinson Trophy, and proving to the men in the field (including their husbands, previous winners The Stroke Kings) that Girl Power is stronger than ever.

TEAM RESULTS
The presentation award dinner capped our week of $50,000+ in prizes, and also featured our annual Raffle Draw, which included a highly-coveted MGI Motorised Buggy, a $2500 Voucher to play in any SGA Major event, and vouchers for players to join us at a variety of SGA Events.
The winner of the $2500 voucher for any future 2026/2027 SGA Major Event, was won by Tracey O'Connor. Onya, Tracey!
The Sally Pitt Award, for the person who approaches the event with Courage, Integrity & Kindness, went to Gavan Doran- a very worthy winner, and someone we are all confident that Sally would have loved.
