What past players have said:
"It was the greatest golfing experience I have ever had.
This was my first experience with SGA. In 1 word: Fantastic!
The whole trip was first class...so well organised, you just went with the flow. The golf courses were excellent, the itinerary was great; communication was exceptional, plenty of time to yourself to look around and do the tourist side of things.
I will be booking another trip with SGA 100%. Thank you!"

History of the Mission Hills Masters
The foundation of the Mission Hills Masters began in 2019, when Sheri Yu (a Chinese native who lives in Sydney) partnered with Matthew Pitt of Social Golf Australia. Sheri and Matt decided that a golf event on the tropical and luxurious Hainan Island (notably at Mission Hills) would be well received by SGA golfers, and could become a long-term, successful venture for all parties involved.
In 2023, following years of planning and logistics, Sheri and Matt ventured to Hainan Island to establish partnerships with the local courses and operators, During that time, both Sheri and Matt were honoured by the travel and tourism operators, with international media in attendance.
In 2024, the Inaugural Mission Hills Masters was held, with 57 golfers (and their partners) in attendance. Included in that event was the inaugural China & Australia Friendship Cup, a one-day event that featured 50 local Chinese golfers playing alongside their western golfing mates.
Both events were a massive success, and it is hoped that the Mission Hills Masters and the China & Australia Friendship Cup will continue long into the future.
